Read All About It

 I reached out to Kevin because I really liked the style of his photography. While he can execute a shot list efficiently (your classic family and bridal party pics) he's amazing at capturing moments, finding the light and framing. I have had the opportunity and pleasure to work with a lot of photographers in my career and I have assembled many shot lists. I knew I was either going to be easy or difficult to work with and the dynamic with our photographer would be important. Kevin and I were consistently on the same page for the photos - both engagement and wedding. Each time I received photos I was delighted. They have movement and there's a narrative beyond the moment captured. On the day of the wedding I told Kevin I wanted to capture the chaos as much as I wanted to capture the beauty. He delivered. I would most definitely work with Kevin again - he's a wonderful photographer and storyteller! 

Kevin was an absolute dream to work with. He shot our engagement photos and wedding photos, and he knew exactly how to bring our vision to life. We had a destination wedding and he was there every step of the way, providing inspiration and making us feel completely relaxed and comfortable. We would do it all over again in a heartbeat!-Morgan

 Book Kevin! We wanted a creative photographer who was trained in photojournalism. Our friends recommended a few local shooters that they had used for their wedding, but we thought their portfolio was bland and generic. So we searched on the Knot and found two whose portfolio showed more depth and understanding of light. And because moments are so important to us, we knew Kevin was the right choice. He definitely captured incredible portraits, but what we cherish the most is the moments of our friends and family as they witnessed our day. He is super friendly and patient, and handled a very rowdy wedding party with ease. 

 We hired Kevin for our engagement and wedding and couldn't be happier. I'm a graphic designer and my husband is commercial photographer, so the choice of a wedding photographer was incredibly important. There are so many photographers to choose from, but once you meet Kevin it becomes clear he is a cut above the rest. He's passionate, enthusiastic, has a great eye, is affordable, and has a lot of experience. I've referred him to all my friends and can't say enough good things!

 Let me save you the trouble. If Kevin is available, book him! We loved his portfolio but when he explained to us how important photography was to him and what exactly it is that separates his work from other shooters, it really clicked for us. What he is best at is making you feel comfortable in front of the camera. We had our first set of engagement photos done by another photographer and were really disappointed. They were "nice", but we felt awkward the whole time. When we had Kevin redo them, it was really fun. All three of us laughed the whole time, and he captured so many real moments. As good of a photographer he is, he is also excellent at understanding what makes you tick and how to bring your personality out. 

 Kevin shot my best friend's wedding in Mexico, so I was able to see him in action and get to know him. Not only did we love his work but his personality really clicked with my fiancé as well. The other photographers we met with had decent photos, but there was not much spark or enthusiasm in their personality. So to find a photographer we BOTH clicked with was huge. His photos are so unique and he makes you feel really comfortable in front of the camera which was a big deal because Thome hates having his pic taken. Definitely glad we chose him 

 Kevin was fantastic to work with in every way. He is organized and timely, which helped tremendously to prepare things during planning stages and keep things on track throughout the wedding day. He is incredibly talented and has an eye for natural lighting, making for beautiful photos. He remained true to his documentary and journalistic style, but also gave suggestions on ideas for poses and adorable pictures. I had many guests comment on the fact that he wasn't "in the way" during the ceremony and that they hardly noticed he was there (which was exceptional because we actually had Kevin and one of his colleagues working). They were very professional, but still so fun to spend the day with. They just blended naturally into the wedding, which allowed them to get relaxed and amazing candid shots. I highly recommend to any couples looking for a highly talented, professional, and easy-to-work-with documentary style photographer. 10/10 would book again!

  Photography was our most important decision as we have a background in design and realize the importance of choosing someone who doesn't just "take pictures" but has an appreciation for design, light, and artistry. We are so thankful we found Kevin. Not only is his work is incredibly detailed, but his ability to capture moments is truly important and special. He was incredibly kind and patient and made the planning process simple. The best decision we made and the price was well below many photographers with what we considered "generic' work.

 I can't say enough good things about my experience with Kevin. We had a few things go haywire with our timeline, and I was completely worried that we would not have time for photos. Kevin remained calm the entire time and assured me that everything we planned in advance would still be possible despite the bridal party hiccup (long story). Instead of having two hours for portraits, we only had 20 minutes and Kevin was able to deliver an incredible amount of beautiful and creative shots in that time while staying completely calm and collected. Thank you so much for your patience and hard work, We will cherish these memories for a lifetime!  

Kevin is so much fun! Being a bit into photography myself I studied wedding photographers for hours and finally found Kevin! I fell in love with his natural style. I’m so glad we ended up doing an engagement session with Kevin as well as it was a great experience to meet him and for him to get to know us a bit better as well. We are both a bit stiff and awkward infant of the camera and Kevin put both of our minds at ease! The day of was no exception! On your wedding day you spend most of your time with your photographer and Kevin made the day so much fun! Kevin and his partner were very professional and listened to each and everyone of our request and kept our wedding party on task and actually ahead of schedule!

Kevin did our engagement and wedding photos and we are SO happy with his work!The pictures turned out beautifully and they perfectly captured our special day!! Not only is Kevin incredibly talented but he is so fun to work with. He quickly puts you at ease and gives great guidance throughout the shoots! Prior to the wedding day, we provided Kevin with a list of people/places that we wanted photographed and he made sure that everything/everyone on the list was covered! When Kevin did our engagement session, he was so much fun to work with and made us completely comfortable with the camera...even when it was inches from my face! Kevin did an absolutely amazing job capturing each and every moment and even the emotions in each of those moments. I know that my husband and I will never forget anything about our day because of Kevin's ability to capture every emotion in every moment! To me, photos are the biggest element in the BIGGEST day of a woman's life, and Kevin did a fantastic job telling our love story, both during the engagement session and on our wedding day. As if it wasn't clear beforehand, Kevin showed us he really cares about his clients and his photos when he stayed later than scheduled so he could get "party" pictures. Photographers like Kevin are hard to find and I would recommend him to any bride looking to preserve her wedding day!
